Welby’s Car Care has been a landmark in Springfield since 1985.  We enjoy being active and serving our local community.  With a strong sense of responsibility, we donate to many local charities as our way to give back.

When founder and current owner Mark Worman opened his doors on September 15, 1985, he wanted the shop and its staff to be honest and operate in accordance with the highest industry standards.  His intense commitment to this vision allowed him to grow his business from a single car garage in 1985 to our current shop with 22 bays and over an acre of parking.

Welby’s is an I-Car Certified Gold Class shop specializing in restoring your car to its pre-loss condition.  We have experience with accident and vandalism repair, and we can clean your car to look brand new.  We take pride in explaining every detail of the repair process and helping you with your insurance claim, before, during and after your visit with us.  Our superior level of knowledge always results in a quality job in a timely manner.

Our owner, Mark Worman, has repaired cars for the more than 20 years.  From the “oldies-but-goodies” to a top-of-the-line sports and luxury cars, Mark takes pride and pleasure in every job.  With a goal of 100 percent customer satisfaction, Mark and his staff are sure to accommodate any needs you have.

When Mark was a young man he had the opportunity to work in many different types of repair facilities. Among these were a Lincoln-Mercury dealership and JC Penney Auto Center. These experiences allowed him to see all aspects of the vehicle repair process and the flaws that can come with the process. Mark was determined to improve on the processes and techniques of the other shops.

Suzanne Worman		Suzanne Worman has worked for Welby's since 1995. When you call us, Suzanne will most likely be the first person you speak with. Suzanne is married to our owner, Mark Worman, and is our shop pet sitter too. Please feel free to call anytime and ask for Suzanne's assistance. She worked in the insurance field for 10 years prior to joining the team at Welby's, so she is well versed in all insurance claim related issues.
Allysa Worman		Allysa is the newest addition to the Welby work force. Allysa is a Freshman at Springfield High School, and is on the SHS cheerleading team. Allysa worked this last summer in the office helping answer phones, greeting customers  and filing. When Allysa is not in school, she usually can be found here at Welby's earning money for her summer vacations.

Fernando Baeza		Fernando has worked for Welby's Car Care for 15 years. He is I-Car certified in Welding, Advanced Vehicle Systems, Steering and Brakes, Collision Repair, Plastic Welding and Unibody. Fenando is considered one of the best collision technicians in our industries. On our "Body Shop" photo's page, it is Fernando who performed the work on the Lexus that had a new rear half clip installed. Fernando is married and has two children and two grandchildren.
Michael Kennedy		Mike has only worked at Welby's for a year, but his abilities have proved to be invaluable. There is no of range or repair that Mike cannot perform. Mike is currently performing the body restoration on a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T while repairing all of our modern collision vehicles. Mike is also I-Car certified in a Collision Repair, Welding, Unibody and Advanced Vehicle systems.
Will Scott		Will has worked for Welby's since he graduated from high school. Mark has spent countless hours training and helping Will develop his painting skills. Today Will is one of the best auto refinishers in the industry. Painting a vehicle today is more challenging than ever. Today's cars are painted in multiple layers of pearl and metallic paint, and matching a finish is more of an art form than a trained skill. Will is I-Car certified in Color Match, Color Theory, Paint Finish and Texture. Will is married with two beautiful little boys. He has a bright future in the auto collision industry. We are very proud to have Will as part of our team.
